What rules apply to hotel and restaurant visits?

Baden-Württemberg Restaurants, hotels, holiday apartments, bars and pubs are open in compliance with the hygiene regulations. The ban on accommodation has been suspended by the Administrative Court.
Bavaria Beer gardens may open. Holiday flats and hotels may also open again. Bars and pubs are not allowed to open yet. No guests from a domestic German Corona hotspot may be admitted, unless they have a negative Corona test (not older than 48 hours).
Berlin There is no curfew for bars and restaurants, but a ban on alcohol applies from 23:00. Hotels and holiday flats may accept guests. The Senate has not decided on a ban on accommodation.
Brandenburg From 2 November, restaurants, bars, clubs, discos, pubs and the like will be closed. The delivery or collection of food for consumption at home is permitted. Hotels may only provide overnight accommodation for necessary and expressly non-tourist purposes. All tourists who are currently still in Brandenburg must leave by 4 November.
Bremen Visits to restaurants and pubs are possible. There is a closing time for gastronomy and a ban on selling alcohol from 23.00 to 6.00 hours. Hotels and holiday flats are allowed to open.
Hamburg Restaurants are open. Hotels, holiday apartments and camping sites may accommodate guests. No guests from an inner-German corona hotspot may be accommodated unless they have a negative corona test (not older than 48 hours).
Hesse Restaurants and bars are open, the minimum distance must be observed. Hotels, holiday apartments and camping sites may also accommodate guests. No guests from an inner-German corona hotspot may be accommodated unless they have a negative corona test (not older than 48 hours).
Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania From 2 November, restaurants, bars, clubs, discos, pubs and the like will be closed. The delivery or collection of food for consumption at home is permitted. Hotels may only provide overnight accommodation for necessary and expressly non-tourist purposes. Tourists must leave Mecklenburg-Vorpommern by 5 November at the latest. No tourists may be admitted after 2 November.
Lower Saxony From 2 November, restaurants, bars, clubs, discos, pubs and the like will be closed. The delivery or collection of food for consumption at home is permitted. Hotels may only provide overnight accommodation for necessary and expressly non-tourist purposes. Holidaymakers who have already arrived before 2 November do not have to interrupt their stay, but are not allowed to extend their holiday.
North Rhine-Westphalia Restaurants and bars are open. The contact details of each visitor must be registered. Apartments and hotels may be used for tourism again.
Rhineland-Palatinate Bars and restaurants are open. There is a curfew at 23.00 hours, the sale of alcohol is prohibited from this time. Hotels, apartments, youth hostels and camping sites are open. There is no ban on accommodation.
Saarland Restaurants are open until midnight. Bars, hotels, holiday apartments and camping sites are allowed to open. In Saarland the ban on accommodation for travellers from German risk areas will be abolished.
Saxony From 2 November, restaurants, bars, clubs, discos, pubs and the like will be closed. The delivery or collection of food for consumption at home is permitted. Hotels may only provide overnight accommodation for necessary and expressly non-tourist purposes. Private trips and visits are only to be made in urgent exceptional cases: Visits to relatives in need of help, visits to exercise the right of custody and access, participation in a funeral or the visit of partners not living in the same household.
Saxony-Anhalt From 2 November, restaurants, bars, clubs, discos, pubs and the like will be closed. The delivery or collection of food for consumption at home is permitted. Hotels may only provide overnight accommodation for necessary and expressly non-tourist purposes.
Schleswig-Holstein From 2 November, restaurants, bars, clubs, discos, pubs and the like will be closed. The delivery or collection of food for consumption at home is permitted. Hotels may only provide overnight accommodation for necessary and expressly non-tourist purposes. Tourists must have left by 2 November at the latest. For islands and Halligen there is a deadline of 5 November.
